Description

NA Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to provide flow meters to measure combined raw water and recycled water flow rates and recycled flow rates for work that includes, but is not limited to, mechanical and electrical at the Fort Detrick Water Treatment Plant, Chemical Feed Building 1123, Frederick MD. Completion time is estimated at 180 days from notice to proceed. SOLICITATION NO. DAMD17-02-B-0002 will be issued on or about 04 February 2002 and bid opening will be on o r about 06 March 2002. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense, must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registr ation can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr.gov or by calling (888)227-2423. Requests for a copy of the solicitation package MUST be submitted in writing. NO PHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Facsimile requests are acceptable and should be faxed to (301)619-3002, ATTN: Susan Dell. Because only forty (40) solicitation packages are available, requests will be filled on a first come, first served basis. There is no charge for the solicitation package. The estimated cost of this procuremen t is between $25,000 and $100,000. Any resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this procurement is 1799 (NAICS code 235990) with a size standard of $11.5 million in average annual rece ipts. This is an unrestricted procurement, open to both small and large businesses (subject to PL 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program).
