- Description
- The IRS Small Business Program Office will be hosting an IRS Prime Contract Network Opportunity Session on Thursday, February 7 and Friday, February 8, 2002. This event will consist of one-on-one counseling opportunities with the IRS Prime and Alliance Partners to discuss potential subcontracting opportunities available under the IRS Prime Systems Integration Contract, TIRNO-99-D-00001. The Prime Contractor is Computer Sciences Corporation and its Alliance Partners are: IBM Corporation, Unisys Corporation, SAIC, Logicon, Avaya, Inc., and KPMG Consulting, LLC. This event is limited to small business concerns (including 8(a), HUBZone, small disadvantaged, women-owned, veteran-owned, and service disabled veteran-owned small businesses). Small business is defined as having less than $18 million in average annual receipts if you are an IT Services company and as having less than 500 employees if you sell computer hardware and software products. Companies will be limited to meetig with three of the seven companies listed above. Appointments will be fifteen minutes in length and will be scheduled from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day. To the maximum extent practicable, registrants will be scheduled for appointments with three counselors on the same day and in near proxmimity time-wise, to avoid having long wait times and a two-day commitment. At this time and in the foreseeable future, all work done under the IRS Prime Contract is being performed in the Washington, DC metro area. Any company wanting appointments for this event should either be headquartered in the DC metro area or have personnel permanently assigned to the DC metro area. Click on Small Business Program Office and then on IRS Prime Contract Network Opportunity Session. The session will be held at the IRS Procurement Office at 6009 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD. Companies interested in attending must pre-register. Again, only small business concerns may attend on a first-come, first-served by appointment only basis. Only one person per company will be allowed to attend due to the overwhelming response to the session. There will be no walk-in registration available. Please include the following information in your e:mail: (1) Name and Title of person attending, (2) Company Name, (3) Company Addres, (4) Company Phone Number, (5) Company Fax Number, (6) Business Size, (7) Nich areas of your business, and (8)Company Names of the three IRS Prime Companies you want one-on-one appointments with. Once the e:mail is received, appointments will be made and an e:mail confirmation will be returned as to appointment times and dates. Deadline for registration is by close of business, Monday, February 4, 2002.
