- 17. This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ), and therefore, a formal solicitation will not be issued. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 25 January 02, 1:00 PM PDT. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03. The Government intends to procure the following: 8 EACH, Sony Computer Notebooks, Model PCG-GR290K with the following options: 1 ea, external USB floppy disk drive (p/n: PCGA-UFD5), 1 ea, USB Mouse ( p/n: PCGA-UMS1/A), 1 ea, Port Replicator (p/n: PCGA-PRGR1), 2 ea, additional Batteries each (p/N: PCGA-BP2E). Material shall be delivered FOB destination to Ft. George Meade, MD 20755 on or before 60 days after receipt of order (ARO). This procurement is not set-aside for small business participation. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The applicable NAICS is 334111. All proposals received by the time established for the receipt of proposals shall be considered by the Government. FAX to (916) 643-4730, ATTN: Jon Ursino. Hard copies of the faxed proposal must be received within 3 days of the fax. Email submittals are also acceptable to Jon Ursino. All responses to this notice must make reference to quotation number MDA112-02-T-0013 To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. To register, you may apply through the Internet at http://ccr2000.com. You must include your Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) number in order to apply. The following provisions apply to this solicitation and, to the degree applicable, to any resulting contract. FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.252-2, FAR 52.202-1, FAR 52.204-4, DFARS 252.204-7004, FAR 52.212-2 - The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5, including the following sub-clauses, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, DFARS 52.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offeror. DFARS 52.212-7001, including the following sub-clause, 252-243-7002. DLAD Clause 52.0233-4001, Agency Protests, also applies. The text of all clauses referenced herein may be downloaded from one of the following web sites: http://www.arnet.gov/far/; http://farsite.hill.af.mil; http://www.acq.osd.mil/dp/dars/dfars.html The Contractor shall attach two (2) copies of a detailed packing list in each box or container with unlike items where the full description of the contents is not authorized or cannot be shown. Include one (1) copy of the packing list inside the box or container and attach one (1) copy of the packing list on the outside of the box or container. The outside of the box or container must also include the complete shipping address as provided in the schedule and the Contract/Order number located on Page 1 of this document which starts with MDA112.. . The packing list shall contain the following information: (a) Contract number/Purchase Order number, (b) Package number and set number (if any) of the container, (c) A list of the contents which shows the quantity by item, item description, part number, type and size, unit of issue if other than each. NOTE that the government will not accept items shipped without a packing list especially when the content of the package is unidentifiable; rejected items will be returned at the contractor's expense.
