- Description
- Hidden Agenda/Raid Jacket ? Headquarters AFOSI. This office is conducting market research of the commercial marketplace to determine if the aforementioned item is currently available in the commercial market place and if so, what terms and conditions, contract type(s), and other commercial practices are currently being used to provide hidden agenda/raid jackets to law enforcement agencies. The item specifications are as follows: Hidden Agenda/Raid Jacket, DUTYMAN Brand (or equivalent) unlined with 100% black nylon, water resistant, and windproof exterior fabric. Jackets shall have elastic cuffs. A waist drawstring is optional. The jacket shall have two side pockets with zippers and a full length zipper or button front. The collar can be cloth, vinyl, or a combination of both, but must be black in color. Jackets shall not have hoods. Jackets must include three black pull-down panels; one in the rear (approximately 13 inches in width and 6.5 inches in length.) The two panels located in the front of the jacket (left & right side) shall be approximately 6 inches in width and 6 inches in length. All panels must attach using Velcro-like material and must be securable ?out of sight? until visibility is necessary by pulling down on the flap. Pull down panels must be capable of receiving/accepting ?Silk Screen Heat Transfer? lettering. On the front left panel, a cloth AFSOI special agent badge (approximately 4 inches by 3 inches in size) shall be sewn onto the pull down patch. On the front right pull down panel, the letters ?OSI? shall be Silk Screen Heat Transfer and on the back panel ?POLICE FEDERAL AGENT? (Police on top line and Federal Agent on the second line) shall also be Silk Screen Heat Transfer. Front Panel lettering shall be in all upper casing, yellow in color and approximately 1 inch in length x 1.5 inches in width. Rear Panel lettering shall be in all upper case lettering, same color as the front panel lettering. The letters ?POLICE? shall be approximately 3 inches in length by 1.5 inches in width. Below, on the second line must be the letters ?FEDERAL AGENT?, all in upper case lettering, same color as the front panel lettering, and approximately 1.5 inch in length by 5/8 inch in width. All lettering must be of the ?Silk Screen Heat Transfer? not just ?Silk Screen?. We are also seeking information from companies and other federal agencies that are currently receiving or, are planning to acquire similar items in the future. We expect the contractor to provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to produce the jackets.
