- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, has a requirement to obtain an analytical services for the Non-Nuclear Ordnance Requirements (NNOR) Program, which will involve model development and modification, database development, validation and verification, data entry, requirements computation, assessment of results, and documentation. The purpose of the NNOR program is to develop ordnance requirements for the naval surface, submarine and air forces, and for the Marine Corps air force. The requirements are used to develop ordnance procurement plans and justification of budget requests. The resultant contract type will be Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), and will include a base requirement of three (3) years, and two (2) one-year optional periods. The requirement is 100%, set-aside for small business. All potential offerors submitting requests for this solicitation shall indicate their current size status, small disadvantaged, small, large, 8(a), or hbcu, etc. This requiement is listed under NAICS Code 541614 which establishes the small business size standard as $5.0 Million. All requests for this solicitation shall be in writing, submitted by email to sentzsm@nswccd.navy.mil or fax to (301) 227-5784, Attn: Code 3322, Mr. Scott Sentz, or by letter to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Attn: Code 3322, (Sentz), 9500 MacArthur Blvd., West Bethesda, MD 20817-5700. Requests shall also include the offeror's address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, and size status. Those offerors who submitted their request via e-mail will receive an e-mail notification when the solicitation and any respective amendments are available for download from the NECO website. Offerors who do not have internet access shall formal ly request that a hardcopy of the solicitiation and any amendment be sent to the address indicated in their request letter. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or about 13 february 2002 with the receipt of proposals due thiry (30) days thereafter.
