- The INL Bureau is requesting offers for the purchase of a vehicle to be exported to Belize. This procurement is a small business set aside. Additional information and complete specifications will be sent out. Vendors must contact the Contracting Officer, Ruth Porter, at fax 202-776-8686. The CO cannot answer all email and telephone inquiries. Contact Ruth Porter at the fax number listed above. The vehicle required is a Utility Van with a Cutaway chassis. It will be used by law enforcement personnel as a mobile inspection station. The specifications which follow are partial only. Brand name or equal to Ford Cutaway Van E450, model year 2001 or 2002. You must contact the CO by fax to obtain complete specifications. This vehicle will be inspected by government personnel prior to acceptance. It will require special equipping by an outfitter or similar entity. The Government will make an award to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the specifications which will be sent upon a telefaxed request by the vendors, and one which is most advantageous to the Government--that which represents Best Value to the Government. All offers which are rated technically sufficient will then be evaluated for cost/price and delivery time ARO. The Government may award to other than the lowest priced offer, if the delivery time ARO for the lowest priced offer is significantly longer as defined by the Government. This vehicle is URGENTLY REQUIRED. Total prices quoted must FOB price to Port of Miami, FL. All offers must be received no later than 4:00 PM, EST, on February 19, 2002.
