- IMPORTANT NOTICE: This requirement was previously synopsized under F65501-02-R-0002 on 24 Oct 01. A modification synopsis was posted on 15 Nov 01 changing solicitation F65501-02-R-0002 to F65501-02-Q-0008. Previous synopsis is revised as follows: Request for Quote (RFQ), F65501-02-Q-0008, will be issued as Firm-Fixed Price Requirements Contract with a base year and two (2) one-year option periods. Base year performance period is from 18 March 2002 through 18 September 2002. The SIC Code is 7353. The NAICS Code is 532412, Size Standard $5M. Only one contract will be awarded as a result of this RFQ. Non-Personal Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, tools, material, delivery and pick-up, facilities, personnel, equipment, supervision, training, and any other items and/or services necessary, except that specifically identified as Government Furnished to provide heavy construction equipment at Hemlock Bay, Annette Island, Alaska, as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The type and estimated quantities of equipment required: Item 1- Three (3), Compactors Single Drum Vibratory with an Elliot Grid, MFR: Pro Pac, Model: SD-150D or Equal. Item 2- Three (3), Machinery Drills Air Track with Compressor with winch, MFR: Ingersoll-Rand, Model: EMC350 or Equal. Item 3-Two (2), Drills Self-Contained Track with winch, Ingersoll-Rand, Model: EMC370 or Equal. Item 4- Two (2), Excavator Hydraulic, 50 Ton, MFR: Hitachi, Model: EX40LC or Equal. Item 5- Three (3), Excavators, Hydraulic 35 Ton, MFR: Hitachi, Model: EX330LC or Equal. Item 6- Seven (7), Hauler Articulated, 30 Ton, MFR: Volvo, Model: A25C or Equal. Item 7- One (1), Backhoe, Model: JCB Series 215-4WD or Equal. Item 8- One (1), Machinery Drill, Air Track with Compressor, with winch, MFR: Ingersoll Rand, Model: EMC350 or Equal. Item 9- Two (2), Excavator, Hydraulic, 35 ton, MFR: Hitachi, Model: EX330LC or Equal. Item 10- One (1), Portable Cone Plant (Rock Crusher), MFR: Cedar Rapids, Model 1316 or Equal. Type of rock being crushed: TRONDHJEMITE GRANITE (QUARTZ DIORZTE). The following additional equipment may be needed during the first and second option periods: Item 11-One (1), Soil Compactor, Model: 825C or Equal Item 12- One (1) Drill, Self-Contained Hydraulic with winch, MFR: Ingersoll-Rand, Model: ECM490 or Equal. NOTE: Contractors providing ?or equals? must provide specifications with their quote. The RFQ will be issued on or about 22 Jan 02 with a closing date on or about 31 Jan 02. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. The CCR Internet web site is http://www.ccr2000.com. Upon issue, the solicitation will be available on the Internet at the Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site; http://eps.satx.disa.mil/ or http://FedBizOpps.gov. All responsible sources may submit a written quote, which shall be considered. Please note that paper solicitations will not be issued, and all documents related to this acquisition will be posted on EPS. It is recommended that interested sources register for solicitation number, F65501-02-Q-0008, through EPS to ensure they automatically receive all updated documents. See Number Note: 26.
