- Description
- On November 29, 2001, NASA/KSC issued a Sources Sought Synopsis soliciting potential sources to provide non-personal research and engineering services via a University-affiliated Spaceport Technology Development Contract (USTDC). Based upon the responses received to the Sources Sought Synopsis, NASA/KSC intends to set-aside the acquisition for qualified 8(a) Business Development Program concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition will be 541710 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Interested 8(a) qualified firms who have not already submitted the information requested in the initial Sources Sought Synopsis are encouraged to do so. NASA / KSC will host an Industry Day conference the morning of January 29, 2002 and provide an opportunity for one-on-one discussions on January 29-31, 2002. Those interested in registering for the Industry Day and/or scheduling a one-hour one-on-one discussion should contact Ms. Taya Facemyer at (321) 476-4747 or at Taya.Facemyer-1@ksc.nasa.gov no later than January 25, 2002. Please note that interested prime contractors, subcontractors, and potential university partners are invited to attend the Industry Day conference. A Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the USTDC is available for review. The DRAFT PWS is being provided to give interested parties a more detailed description of the services to be requested. Please be advised this a DRAFT PWS and various changes may be included in the PWS released with the draft and final Request for Proposals.
