Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a New Maintenance Complex located at Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge, Lake Arthur, LA. Work included under this invitation consists of the construction of three new pre-engineered metal buildings, the Shop/Office Building, the Oil/Paint Storage Building, and the Vehicle Storage Building, and the Fueling Facility Slab. Also included is all related appurtenances including but not limited to electrical system, mechanical system, water supply system, and sewage disposal system. This is not a small business set- aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 233320. The size standard is $27.5 million. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 02/08/02, with a 30 day closing. Requests for IFB shall be in writing, stating IFB number 401811B019, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number/fax number. A firm- fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 210 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on/about 03/29/02. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests may be faxed to (404) 679-4057. There is no charge for obtaining the solicitation, however, only one copy to each company per request.
