- Description
- The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute intend to purchase the Getinge Castle brand or equivalent Model #1748 In-Line Bedding Dispenser, with the following specifications: (1) Nominal tunnel washer belt width: 42", bedding dispenser roller width 48", overall size 86"w x 67"h x 96"l, all stainless steel construction, hopper capacity- 12 cubic feet, easy hopper loading, automatic bedding dispensing, operator control panel, powered roller conveyor system, water collection area with debris screen, clean-out access ports, dust collection system; high capacity blower/bag-in filter, left service side installation, automatic conveyor stop. (2) Services include Type A installation by Getinge/Castle Non-Trades Personnel, removal of existing off-load table for Government surplus, set in place, level, and install all equipment utilities connections, full (1) one year parts and labor warranty, demonstration of new equipment, and shipping to be paid by vendor. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with Offerors providing the requested product. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the offeror?s best terms from a technical and price standpoint. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Size Standard is 500 employees for this requirement. The small business set-aside has been lifted for this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. Vendors capable of furnishing the government with the products in this synopsis should submit two (2) copies of a quotation to the below address. The quotation shall include the itemized price, commercial price list, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), business size, Taxpayer Identification Number (TNN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs), and descriptive literature of the product quoted. The quotation must reference ?Solicitation number? NHLBI-PS-2002-030. Quotations will be due fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis or February 9, 2002 by 8:30 a.m. local time, whichever is later. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, Contracts Operations Branch, Procurement Section, 6701 Rockledge Drive, Suite 6042, Bethesda, MD 20892-7902, Attention: Deborah Coulter. Fax quotations will only be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
