- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Comprehensive Santion Center (CSC) services for male and female offenders in the Louisville, Kentucky area. Location of the facilities shall be in Jefferson County. Residential CSC services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of WOrk entitled, Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC) dated November 2001. An indefinite delivery requirement type contract with firm-fixed price unit prices is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 80% male and 20% female. The estimated number of inmate days for CSC services are 21,980 inmate days for the two-year base period, and 10,990 inmate days for Option Years One, Two, and Three. The solicitation will be available on or about January 24, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is March 25, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
