Description

The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) and the DOJ Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) office manage extensive grants programs under the 1994 Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act. The OJP and COPS utilize contractor services to staff and operate the DOJ Response Center (DOJRC) located in Washington, DC on DOJ property. The current contract for these services will expire in fiscal year 2002 and the DOJ will be issuing (via upload to eps) a full and open, competitively negotiated Request for Proposals in mid February with proposals due in March on a date to be determined. Like the current contract, the single award successor contract will be firm-fixed-price for a specified level of monthly services (8-10 FTE) with additional labor hours available at hourly rates. The period of performance will be for one year with four one year options to extend the term thereafter. The contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and large business prime offerors will be required to submit a small business subcontracting plan as part of their proposals. The assigned NAISC code is 561110 and the size standard is $5.0 million.
