Description

Rhein Main Air Base is hereby soliciting information for potential sources for THE INSTALLATION OF A SECURITY SENSOR CURTAIN ON THE FLIGHTLINE, Rhein Main Air Base Germany. All work shall be in conformance with the drawings and specifications, including the furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and transportation. The work required to be performed by the Contractor consists of, but is not limited to, the following principle items: THE INSTALLATION OF A PASSIVE INFRARED LONG RANGE ALARM SYSTEM, AN ELECTRO-MAGNETIC FIELD FOR MONITORING THE EXTERIOR AREA ON THE "RED FLIGHTLINE" SECURITY ZONE AROUND BUILDINGS 400, 43 AND THE STAGING/STORAGE AREA AND THE INSTALLATION OF VIDEO WIRING SYSTEMS TO THE CENTRAL MONITORING STATIONS OF RHEIN MAIN AIR BASE, PROJECT NUMBER UDHY 01-2063. The Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 AND $250,000. All solicitation documents, to include the initial solicitation, all amendments, clarification letters, and other applicable documents, will be issued electronically on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Internet site (http://www.eps.gov). It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any notices. Questions should be directed to SSgt Russell Kneen or SSgt Chalmers listed below. Solicitation is scheduled for release on or about 6 February 2002. ONLY CONTRACTORS WHO ARE LICENSED TO WORK IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY WILL BE CONSIDERED.
