- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to provide three meals per day from 1 February 2002 through 30 September 2002 for the Tennessee Army National Guard in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 12.6 as supplemented w ith additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation is identified by DAHA40-02-R-0002 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). NAICS code is 722110. Proposals are being request ed but a written solicitation will not be issued. The meals are to be provided near the Volunteer Training Site, 325 Arsenal Road, Milan, TN. Line item #1 is estimated 8712 each for breakfast. Line item #2 is estimated 8712 each for lunch. Line item #3 is estimated 8712 each for dinner for a grand total meals of 26,136 meals. Meals will contain a minimum of 2 meats, 3 vegetables, a variety of bread, drinks and dessert. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items. (1/99) is applicable. Award shall be made to the lowest price and technically acceptable proposal. Location, Menu and Last Health Inspection will be considered. The Government considers the price to be equal to the technical factors. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (12/2000) applies. A completed-signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (5/99), and clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (8/2000) also apply to this acquisition. The following clauses are incorporated: 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government, with Alternate I; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.225-3, Buy American Act Supplies.
