Description

Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD 20670 has a requirement for maintenance, logistics and engineering support of a fleet of F100-PW-220/220E Augmented Turbofan Engines at NAS Fallon, Nevada. NAVAIR intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Pratt & Whitney, 503 Shop Lane, Bldg. 312, San Antonio, TX 78226-1828, POC: Mark Wilkes (210) 362-2920, for this effort. The contractor shall provide all facilities, support equipment and manpower required for Intermediate and Depot levels of maintenance and logistics support. The contractor shall perform all required engine/component repairs and provide F100 unique material for all levels of maintenance in a specified time. The contractor shall provide basic design engineering support including Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and critical parts life limits based on specific aircraft mission data. The contractor shall provide a qualified, full time representative on-site at NAS Fallon for maintenance and logistics support of organizational level personnel. Contractor support shall be in place by 1 June 2002. No telephone responses will be accepted.
