Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire, through other than full and open competition, non-personal services for the license and maintenance of the Squadron Assistance/Risk Assessment (SARA) software at the following four U.S. Marine Corps Air Wings (MAWs): 1st MAW Okinawa, Japan; 2nd MAW Norfolk, VA; 3rd MAW San Diego, CA; and 4th MAW New Orleans, LA. Item 0001AA - 13 EA. SARA Maintenance. Item 0001AB - 30 EA. SARA Maintenance; Item 0001AC - 28 EA. SARA Maintenance. Item 0001AD - 17 EA. SARA Maintenance; Option Item 0002 - Telephone Support; Option Item 0003 - On-Site Training - various CONUS locations; Option Item 0004 - On-Site Training - various OCONUS locations; Option Item 0005 - On-Site Support CONUS locations. Specific services include the following: Access to maintenance releases and patch updates available through the web site; E-mail technical support; Telephone access to the Boeing Help Desk (Mon - Fri, 7 AM - 5 PM CST); Central configuration management of the SARA software and support materials; Membership in SARA Users Group (used as a product steering committee); Statusing of potential product upgrades/enhancement (available through the web); Two seats in any regularly scheduled SARA training class offered at the Boeing facility in St. Louis; Updates to printed documentation; Updates to training videotapes. The contract period for these services will be twelve (12) months. Performance will take place at the four MAWs listed above. A Firm Fixed Price contract is contemplated. Requiring activity is U.S. Marine Corps Safety Division, Washington, DC. Inspection and Acceptance at FOB Destination four MAWs listed above. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Boeing of St. Louis, MO, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Boeing is the only supplier of these services at this time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interests and technical capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519. Notes 22, 26.
