Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N66001-02-Q-3256 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The provisions and clauses are those in effect at the time of this publication. Award will be made using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis, an order to Digitize, Inc. for the following items: Item 0001, System 3505 alarm monitors with keyboard, quantity 2 each. Item 0002, MEM-600 (600 pages of memory), quantity 12 each. Item 0003, Win3505 Program (CPU-VII), quantity 1 each. Item 0004, EBB-24 Standby Battery sets, quantity 2each. Item 0005, System 3505 Monaco Interface, quantity 1 each. Item 0006, 1221 Radio Option (AM/FM 132-176 Mhz),quantity 1 each. Item 0007, External Mount Antenna (138-176 Mhz), quantity 1 each. Item 0008, In-line RF antenna filters, 138.6 Mhz, quantity 1 each. Item 0009, In-line RF antenna filters, 138.925Mhz, quantity 1 each. Item 0010, Dual network option audio modem includes two audio configurator cards and software, quantity 2 each.. Item 0011, Digital Dialer Option with Neg. Dialer, quantity 1 each. Item 0012, DDI-9E with RS232 Configurator Card and MEM-ID includes phone line fault detection and built-in caller ID; will accept any pulsed rate from 10 to 40 (37) PPS using the 3-1, 3-1 extended, 4-1, 4-1 extended and 4-2 formats, quantity 1 each. Item 0013, System Installation Drawings to include Digitize equipment; Does not include connections to other manufacturers equipment, quantity 1 each. Item 0014, Install Supervision, quantity 1 each. Item 0015, Training 2 man days, quantity 1 each. Item 0015, Travel Expenses, quantity 1 each. The anticipated award date is 07 February 2002. Delivery is required within 15 weeks from date of award. Delivery and acceptance will be made to Receiving Officer, SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego, 53605 Hull Street, San Diego, CA 92152-5410. The following clauses/provisions are hereby incorporated by reference and will hereby apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items, ALT I with its offer. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders - Commercial Items with reference to paragraph (b) the following additional provisions/clauses apply: FAR 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government ALT I; FAR 52.219-14 - Limitations on Subcontracting; FAR FAR 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity. DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commerical Items (fill in required). DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be made based on technically acceptable low bids. "Numbered Notes 1 and 22" applies, however, all offers received within 15 days (in lieu of 45 days) after date of publication of original synopsis will be considered by the Government".
