REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Coordinating Transportation and Land Use Agency: National Transit Institute Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey University Procurement & Contracting Administrative Services Bldg III 3 Rutgers Plaza New Brunswick, NJ 08901 ID802 ATTN: Gail Schmidt, Senior Buyer Phone: (732) 932-4375 ext 2328 Fax (732) 932-4390 E-Mail: gschmidt@rci.rutgers.edu <mailto:gschmidt@rci.rutgers.edu> Date for receipt of proposals: Wednesday, March 13, 2002 Proposals are requested to revise, continuously update and deliver a training program on the subject of Coordinating Transportation and Land Use. This will be a three (3)-Day Training Program. The Three-Day Training Program will be an in-person training for twenty (24) hours of instruction over a three- (3) day period. It is intended for transportation and land use planners in the spectrum of agencies who work in the area of transportation and land use planning at the state, regional, local and consultant level. A three- (3) day course already exists and instructional materials will be provided with the RFP. The subcontract is three (3) years with a two- (2) year option to be exercised solely at the discretion of Rutgers University. The contract will require the delivery of the Three-Day Training Program up to twenty-four (24) course offerings within three years of subcontract signing and up to sixteen (16) offerings during the option period, if exercised. To obtain a copy of the complete RFP, send a written request on organization letterhead to the University Procurement and Contracting address above. Fax or e-mail requests will be accepted and telephone requests are unacceptable. RFPs will not be faxed. Requests will be honored if received by Wednesday, January 30, 2002.
