Description

CORRECTED DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to prepare the surfaces and airless spray paint all wood exterior surfaces at Administrative Building, Building N38, USCG Integrated Support Command, KODIAK, ALASKA. Work is to include power washing prior to painting building exterior, building trim, exterior doors and frames, soffits, canopies, gutters and downspouts. Total surface area is approximately 16,250 square feet. Contractor is responsible for verifying square footage before quoting. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None Performance Period is 30 - 45 days. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to samples of paint color, laboratory data, MSDS's, references / applicator's qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: ASTM, CFR, MIL SPEC, FED STD, applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY February 6, 2002. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed contract will be awarded under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately February 6, 2002. Written quotes will be due on / about March 6, 2002.
