- Description
- NA All contractors must submit: 1. Submission of Form SF 254 2. Submission of extent of expertise and project experience in the past 5 years in the area of nonlinear incremental structural analysis (NISA) and time dependent probabilistic reliability-based finite element modeling of concrete and steel hydraulic struc tures (dam structures, concrete monoliths, approach walls, large water control valves and gates) associated with navigation projects. NISA experience should include modeling of time dependent concrete material properties, such as strength versus time, sti ffness versus time, and shrinkage, as well as modeling reinforcement in relation to the cracking criteria for concrete and minimizing of cracking in massive concrete structures due to the heat of hydration. Similar analysis associated with the time depend ent finite element modeling of crack initiation, crack propagation, and remedial measures of hydraulic steel structures is also required. Probabilistic finite element modeling would serve as input into time dependent Monte Carlo simulation reliability mod els. Extensive experience with and use of the ABAQUS and ANACAPU software programs is required. A minimum of three navigation projects where this type of work was completed should be submitted. No more than 10 navigation projects with this type of exper ience should be submitted. Each project submitted should have a brief narrative describing the extent and complexity of work performed, as well as dollar value of work performed, and date of completion. 3. Submission of resumes for key personnel involved with the work described in requirement #2. 4. Include a list of relevant published work, including citations, in each submitted resume as appropriate. 5. Identify all professional registrations, licenses, training, etc. in each submitted resume. 6. Include points of contact and phone numbers for references of each cited project. 7. Document the firm?s ability to perform multiple task orders concurrently. 8. Do not submit information for work done outside the last 5 years. This market survey is for HubZone, and/or 8a certified businesses only. Market survey response should be open in the FedBizOps website for 5 days. All interested parties must respond by 31 Jan 2002. Submission packages should be post-marked by a week af ter the closing date of the FedBizOps announcement. Others will not be considered. NOTE: If qualified Section 8 (a) or HubZone business firms do not respond, this planned contract action will be converted to full and open competition. This project is p lanned for advertisement on 13 FEB 2002. Submissions should be sent to the following address: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District LRL-ED-DS (Attn: Mr. David Schaaf, P.E.) P.O. Box 59 Louisville, KY 40201-0059
