Description

The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) is requesting Qualifications Proposals to furnish Design/Build and Construction Management services for the development of the Institute's Library/Technology Center (LTC) building. The LTC is the final building of IAIA's first construction phase. The project is located on the Institute's 140-acre campus. The IAIA campus is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The scope of the project is to design and construct the LTC. The LTC building will house the Library/Research Center, Office of the President, Finance and Administration, Human Resources, Enrollment and Admissions, Campaign and Development, Conference room and Lecture Auditorium. The project program totals approximately 56,000 square feet. The total estimated project budget is $7,500,000. All Design/Build firms responding to this notice will be given not less than 30 days from the date of this notice to provide qualifications for evaluation based on the following criteria: 1) Design/Build experience, 2) capacity, capability and technical competence, 3) Cost management and Design/Build schedule experience, 4) past record of performance in the last five years with similar size and scope, 5) Contracting with Indian organizations, 6) Management plan, 7) Familiarity and proximity with IAIA.
