Description

The intent of this requirement is to provide an in-rack wet sprinkler system for an existing Government owned rack storage system, located in Bay B of Building 66 at Defense Distribution Depot in Richmond VA. The area of work is approximately 36,000 SF, and enclosed by firewalls. Top of storage is approximately 18 ft. The system shall be designed and installed in accordance with NFPA 231c for palletized and loose stacked maps. Hose connections are required. The electronic request for Solicitation Package will be available on-line for release to the general public on or about March 1, 2002. A Pre-proposal Conference is anticipated, further information will be in the solicitation. To receive awards resulting from solicitations after May 31, 1987, your company MUST be registered in the DID Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractor may obtain a copy by downloading information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-293-6498 or via the Internet at www.ccr2000.com. The solicitation will be posted to FEDBIZOPS. This acquisition is unrestricted and open to both large and small business concerns.
