Description

The Public Works Branch (PWB) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to procure services to provide maintenance, repair and installation of the Government own Fire Protection systems, which includes, the Fire Alarm systems and the Sprinkler systems. These systems are located on the campus of the National Institutes of Health and the NIH Poolesville Maryland campus. The Fire Protection Contract shall cover over 71 buildings, parking garages and trailers. The period of coverage will be for a basic 12-month period and four (4) one (1) year options periods. These option periods will be taken into consideration in the award determination. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible offerors will be considered. The solicitation scheduled for release on or about Feburary 1, 2002 with a closing date of approximately 30 days after its issuance. The solicitations will be available for download from the following website: http://des.od.nih.gov/eWeb/contracts/html/contractactions.htm THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ELECTRONICALLY ONLY.
