- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks to Lease Office Space In Colorado Springs, Colorado The U. S. General Services Administration is interested in leasing office space on behalf of two government agencies: 6,500 rentable sq. ft. to 7,000 rentable. sq. ft. to yield not less than 6,087 usable sq. ft. for a lease term of 10 years, the first five of which is firm, for an agency of the Department of Defense. Please refer to as project # 2CO013. 19,000 rentable sq. ft. to 21,000 rentable sq. ft. that must yield not less than 18,260 usable sq. ft. for a lease term of 10 years, the first five of which is firm, for an agency of the Department of Defense. Please refer to as project #1CO0076. These two requirements must be located in a delineated area as follows: Commencing at 1-25 to the west and the proceeding east to Powers, then proceeding from Drennan Rd. to the south to Austin Bluffs on the north. The parking requirement for either agency is 5 stalls per 1,000 r.s.f. Occupancy is expected to be in the second quarter of 2002. All services, supplies, utilities, property taxes, cost of property management and required tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Buildings within the delineated area that are on the Historic Register, eligible for the Historic Register or within a Historic District are encouraged to offer. Space and parking must be accessible to the physically challenged, capable of meeting life and fire safety requirements, and be located outside the 100-500 year floodplains.
