- Description
- The United States Government presently occupies office space in Providence, Rhode Island under a lease that expires in the Spring of 2003. The Government seeks to lease approximately 171,000 BOMA rentable square feet of office and related space along with 50 designated parking spaces to house numerous federal agencies. The rentable space must yield at least 148,777 BOMA usable square feet of space. Relocation will be considered if the economics involved and other factors are supportive. The cost of: moving, alterations, currrent lease liabilities, and occupant agency missions, among other things, will be considered when determining if it is the Government's best interest to relocate. To be considered, properties must be located within the Central Business District (CBD) of Providence, Rhode Island. The term of this lease will be for five (5) years. Interested parties must submit a written expression of interest by February 15, 2002, to Joe Nickerson, Contracting Officer, General Services Administration, 10 Causeway Street, Boston, MA 02222. Submissions should include: building name and address, available rentable and usable square footage and respective rental rates, method of measurement, common area factor, date of space availability, and owner's name and address and a written statement from the owner that offeror has legal authority to provide information on the property.
