- NA DESC: Small Arms Precision Gages. The items to be procured are: M16 Headspace Gage, NSN: 5220-00-070-7814, PN: 7799734, MIN GUARANTEED QUANTITY: 100; M60 Headspace Gage, NSN: 5220-00-647-3698, PN: 7274790, MINIMUM GUARANTEED QUANTITY: 100; M240 Gage H eadspace, NSN: 5220-01-043-8212, PN: 11826274, MINIMUM GUARANTEED QUANTITY: 50; and M240 Headspace Warning Gage, NSN: 5220-01-043-8211, PN: 11826299, MINIMUM GUARANTEED QUANTITY: 50. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The Government intends to award a one-year long-term Indefinite Quantity type contract with two optional ordering periods. Solicitation DAAE20-02-R-0042 will list the minimum and maximum estimated quantities for each item. The solicitation will include range bidding. The Governm ent reserves the right to make multiple awards if it is in the best interest of the Government, price and other factors considered. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 19 Feb 02. The solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/ind ex.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interest ed parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of it. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a proposal are instructed to request it by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has b een released to the internet. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY02 requirement.
