- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish and deliver three (3) Floating Courtesy Docks to the Morehead Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Rowan County, Kentucky. The docks shall be delivered, ready to install, with installation to be done by the Forest Service. Dock Number 1 will be delivered to the Warix Boat Ramp located on KY Highway 801. This dock will be 20 feet square with a 4 feet wide X 35 feet long bridge with low water support legs. Dock Number 2 will be delivered to the Alfrey Boat Ramp located off KY Highway 801. This dock will be 28 feet X 36 Feet ?U? shaped with a 4 feet wide X 40 feet long bridge with low water support legs. Dock Number 3 will be delivered to the Claylick Boat Ramp located on KY Highway 801. This dock will be 28 feet X 36 feet ?U? shaped with a 4 feet wide X 40 feet long bridge with low water support legs. The docks at all locations shall have bridges with wooden decking and railing. The shoreline connection on the bridges shall be pin type. The docks shall have concrete decking with an aggregate or smooth finish. Bumper protection shall be vertical bumpers with corner bumpers. Bumper spacing shall be manufacturer recommended. Flotation for bridges and docks shall be manufacturer recommended. Tiedown cleats shall be spaced at the manufacturer?s discretion. The Forest Service will supply all anchorage materials. Anchorage will use cable. The price range will be between $25,00 and $100,000. These items will be solicited using the Request for Quotation format. This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns in NAICS Code 421910, Sporting and Recreational Goods and Supplies Wholesalers with a size standard of 500 employees.
