- The Operational Contracting Division, Commercial Acquisition Branch, at Hanscom AFB, Ma is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ), F19650-02-T-0004. The duration of this Simplified Acquisition shall be completed by 28 Feb 02. The NAICS is 541310 and the Small Business Standard is $4.0 mil. The requirement is for a reconfiguration of the space in Bldg 1600 as well as providing systems furniture. The purpose of the reconfiguration of systems furniture in Bldg 1600 is to make better use of existing space/furniture for increasing numbers in personnel, while at the same time improving the work environment for the personnel. The contractor shall make an inventory of the existing systems furniture, submit a development of floor plans to include best use of light and space, tear-down and set-up of all systems furniture in specified areas, replacement of systems furniture that does not match, removal of all unwanted furniture and furnish electrical work for all new workstations. The following clause applies FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (the evaluation criteria is Past Performance, Best Value and Price). The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
