Description

NA Combined Solicitation Synopsis DAHA14 02 R 4004 for 2 each 2 Ton Girder Cranes advertised on 18 January 2002 is changed as follows. The requirement has changed from 2 each to 1 each. Only one 2 Ton Girder Crane with 2 each bridges is now required. (The requirement for the 3 bridge crane is deleted.). The requirement for an on site professional engineer is DELETED. However, the contractor must make themselves familiar with the facility to allow for installation around existing equipment. The following general specifications for the 2 bridge 2 Ton crane is added: The crane must include regenerative braking; chain; motors must meet NEMA 4 specifications; must meet load certification per OSHA; include 2 speed variable frequency; must be painted; includ e turnkey installation (government will provide wiring to the crane); include a one year warranty. The crane must be free standing (cannot make building alterations); height to hook minimum is 11 FT 6 IN; and span area is approximately 21 1/2 feet by 100 feet. Columns at 27 feet outside. The date set for receipt of proposals still remains for 19 Feb 02 at 4:00pm (CT).
