To guarantee addition to the bidders list, web page registration should be followed up with either a fax or an email. All requests for a CD must contain the following information: company name, address, business size, point of contact with email address, phone number, fax number. DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers, intends to award a firm fixed price construction c ontract to complete phase 2 of the restoration of System 1 at Dworshak National Fish Hatchery. The work will be to restore the existing hatchery process water reuse facility for system 1. Primary tasks include cleaning of 7 clarifier ponds; repair of 8 c larifier ponds (launders, scrapers, conveyors and associated equipment); replacement of sludge piping in gallery at end of clarifiers which primarily consist of 6 and 8-inch PVC piping; painting existing 30-inch steel pipe in gallery at end of clarifiers; installing two new 7.5 hp sludge pumps; modifying existing fluid bed sand filter system to become continuous cleaning biofilters (primarily, metal fabrication including galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum); providing approximately 400-500 thousa nd pounds of plastic bead media for the biofilters; fabricating and installing structural steel supports and access platform; demolition of existing features including removal of the tops of existing 14 ft diameter steel tanks, piping and misc. components; installing new steel and aluminum pipe ranging from 6 to 24 inches; installing 18-inch diameter mortar-lined steel pipe, approximately 420 feet long; installing reinforced concrete for a meter vault, wall extension and foundations. This does not preclude incidental or other minor tasks from being a part of the work. ADMIN INFO: The estimated cost range for this job is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 1629 and the North American Industry Classificat ion System (NAICS) code is 234990. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $27,500,000. If a large business is selected for this contract it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding t he requirement for a subcontracting plan on that portion of the work it intends to subcontract. The intended subcontracting goals are that a minimum of 61.4% of the contractor?s intended subcontract amount be placed with small businesses including 9.1% wi th small disadvantaged businesses. The plan must contain a goal of 5.0% with women-owned small businesses and 3.0% with service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The plan is not required with the submittal of a bid. All responsible business sourc es may submit an offer, which may be considered.
