Description: NA The work consists of the removal of approximately 1,468,000 cubic yards of dredged material in the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway across Aransas Bay and approximately 331,000 cubic yards of dredged material from the Channel to Aransas Pass. This work includes maintenance material from 88,442 feet of project channel with variable widths of 125 to 433 feet to required depths of 16 feet below MLT and 2 feet allowable overdepth. The material will be disposed in open water, confined, and partially confined placeme nt areas. The type of work includes maintenance dredging and raising levees and drop-outlets. The plans and specifications will be provided on compact disc (CD); to obtain a copy of the CD, you must register at Galveston District?s website at www.swg.usa ce.army.mil/ct. Subcontracting goals for the Galveston District are: 61.4% - Small Business; 9.1% - Small Disadvantaged Business; 5.0% - Woman-Owned; 2.5% - Hubzone Small Business and 3.0% - Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The estimated cost range is between $1 million and $5 million.
