Description
NA Construction project to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to construct outside pavilions and terrace addition at Bldg 1751, Fort McCoy, WI. This project includes site construction including site preparation, excavati on, backfill, grading and site work, trench excavation and backfill, riprap, storm sewer systems, sod, and landscaping; concrete including formwork, concrete reinforcement, cast-in-place concrete, plant-precast architectural concrete; masonry including uni t masonry assemblies; metals including structural steel, steel deck, cold-formed metal framing, cold-formed metal joist and trusses, metal fabrications, ornamental fence and railings, and stair nosings; wood and plastics including rough carpentry, and wood trusses; thermal and moisture protection including damp roofing, building insulation, exterior soffits, metal roofing and facia panels, and joint sealants; doors and windows including steel doors and frames (institutional) access doors, coiling doors and grilles, finish door hardware and glazing; finishes including metal support assemblies, and paint; special conditions including pre-engineered fabric canopy and structural system; mechanical including plumbing and general mechanical provisions and heating; and electrical including basic electrical materials and methods, wiring devices, panel boards and lighting. Project magnitude for the contract is between $250,000 to $500,000. A 20% bid bond is required. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North Americ an Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 233320 and the size standard is $17 million. The invitation for bid will be issued on or about 14 February 2002. The solicitation documents will be available electronically at the Army Single Face to Indu stry Business Opportunities Page http://acquisition.army.mil and also available through the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) http://www.fedbizopps.gov . Telephonic, written, or electronic requests for hard copies of documents will be denied. Parties interested in the solicitation should access the web page for issuance of the solicitation as well as solicitation amendments. Contractors will not be directly notified of solicitation amendments. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be c onsidered.
