- Military Sealift Command has a requirement for 1,195 Condition of Entry signs to place on its ships. The signs shall be three feet high by four feet long (3 x 4) and constructed of a lightweight vinyl / polymer material that is ultraviolet fade proof and heavy duty enough to withstand maritime conditions (heavy wind, rain, sun, high humidity, etc.). The signs will be required in 24 different languages; the Government shall furnish a CD containing the translation into each specified language to the successful Offeror. MSC is soliciting quotes based on the best contract vehicle of each Offeror: open market or GSA Schedule. If the quote is offered open market, this shall be a small business set-aside. Anticipated issue date for the RFP is 25 January 2002. When available, the solicitation will be posted to the Contracts section of the MSC webpage, http://www.msc.navy.mil.
