Description

Solicitation N00421-02-Q-0006 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order with Applied Companies, 28020 Avenue Stanford, Valencia, CA 91355-1105, for the part number listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. Due to logistical considerations the ECUs must be identical to previously fielded units supplied by Applied Companies. The contract line item number and description is **CLIN 0001 Quantity 2 ea P/N AC-145-35-31 Ruggedized Horizontal ECU: Olive Drab Green Without Transition Duct. Award is expected 15 February 2002. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 12 February 2002 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
