Description

This requirement is for repair and/or refurbishment and testing of Light Valve Assemblies, NSN 8N 5960-01-232-3100TD, P/N 7690000G32P and NSN 8N 5960-01-317-3401TD, P/N 7690000G43. These requirements will be filled by placing delivery orders against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00383-97-G-003P with Vacuum Optics Corporation, Tucson, AZ. The ordering period of the BOA is 29 March 2001 through 28 March 2003. Placement of the orders will be on a sole-source basis. The Government lacks the technical data, drawings, and tooling to permit competitive repair of the above items. Vacuum Optics is the only vendor capable of performing these repairs as the drawings, data, and tooling are held by Vacuum Optics. The estimated quantity of Light Valve Assemblies to be repaired during the period of performance of the BOA is 40 each.
