Description
It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on or about February 20, 2002 and will be identified as N47408-02-R-2315. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Contracts Office (NAVFACCO) is issuing this sources sought synopsis for the web based construction management of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Field Office processes in an Application Service Provider scenario. This work will primarily consist of measuring basic functionality, technical and interoperability functions. This web based software program will be operated at NAVFAC Field Offices in a global environment. It is anticipated this procurement will be a base year with four one year options. The Government contemplates a firm-fixed price, two-step procurement. The NAICS # is 541512, size standard $18M. This unclassified Industry Day forum will be held on December 11, 2001 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. beginning with a formal presentation by the Government at NAVFAC SOUTHWEST DIVISION, 1220 PACIFIC HIGHWAY, SAN DIEGO, CA, BUILDING 227 (BLUE ROOM). ALL VISITORS ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK IN WITH SECURITY AT BUILDING 128. After the formal Government presentation, contractors may meet with Government representatives for a maximum of one hour to hold private discussions concerning the requirements. Government representatives will be available the afternoon of December 11 and on December 12 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Contractor's interested in attending the forum must provide name, company, phone number, and e-mail address to Mr. Bill Cooper at 850-452-4616, ext. 121. If you wish to participate in the one hour discussion please be prepared to present introductory information on your corporate capabilities and experience. The Government hopes to promote an exchange of ideas and concerns with regard to various means of accomplishing the requirements of the Government. Contractor's are asked to limit participation to no more than 3 people per company. Any visual aids must be furnished by the contractor. Background information and a draft statement of work will be posted on the government's "e-sol" site no later than November 13, 2001.
