Description

The Naval Aviation Depot located at the Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for the on-site overhaul of an Ingersoll-Rand Centac Air Compressor. The Contractor shall provide all engineering, supervision, labor (mechanical, electrical, welding, machining, rigging, etc.), parts, materials, equipment, freight, and transportation required to perform an overhaul of the Ingersoll-Rand Centrifugal Air Compressor. When the overhaul is complete, the compressor shall be in like new condition, capable of performing per the manufacturers original compressor specifications. Only Contractors having previously performed Ingersoll-Rand Centac centrifugal air compressor overhauls shall be considered for contract award. An on-site service technician(s) shall be provided to perform the specified work and shall have a minimum experience of at least three successful Centac air compressor rebuilds. A resume shall be submitted, with the Contractors bid, indicating the experience of the proposed service technician(s) and documenting the technician(s) training and certification to overhaul the compressor.
