Description

This request is for the establishment of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). Awardees of the BPA(s) may be issued work orders. Individual work orders through the BPA(s) shall result in a contractual agreement(s) between the Government and the Contractor for services at the price, terms, and conditions within the BPA. This project will provide log-scaling services for the Boise and Payette National Forests. This contract involves not only the actual determination of volume, but also the accounting of each load delivered to one or more scaling locations. Work may be performed at various locations within Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Contract scaling will only be for logs that will be leaving Region 4. The contract period is from BPA award (estimated April 1, 2002) through one year. The BPA may be extended for up to two additional years. The total duration shall not exceed three years.
