Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision required to remove sashes from existing window units and replace with new window units (approximately 316) in Building No. 50 at the VA Medical Center, St. Cloud, Minnesota. Work may also include removing and re-installation of existing window treatments and suspended ceiling systems to assist in the removal of existing sashes. Electronic solicitation documents may be obtained FREE via the VA Business Opportunities System website at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Requests for hard copy solicitation documents must be in writing to the Contracting Officer and accompanied by a check for $25.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. No telephone requests will be accepted. The drawings are in AutoCad 2000 format. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will only be available on the website as stated in this announcement. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Issue date is January 10, 2002, Pre-Bid Conference is January 31, 2002 at 2:00 pm with Bid Opening on February 20, 2002 at 2:00 pm. The cost range is $500,000 to $650,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 233320. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
