Description
NA This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources of supply for three different UHF SATCOM Antennas and the Electronic Parts Kit. They are used with the AN/PSC-5 Radio Set. They are as follows: High Gain Antenna AS 4461, NSN: 5985-01-449-3240; Medium G ain Antenna AS 3567, NSN: 5985-01-149-2576; Lightweight Satellite Antenna AV 2056, NSN: 5985-01-463-6558; and the Electronic Parts Kit, NSN: 5895-01-388-4428, for Medium Gain Antenna AS 3567. This acquisition will be a five year Indefinite Deliveries, In definite Quantities (IDIQ) contract with range quantities for: 1. the AS 4461, 1-25 Each, 26-75 Each, 76-100 Each, and 101-300 Each; 2. the AS 3567, 1-50 Each, 51-100 Each, 101-150 Each, and 151-400 Each; 3. the AV 2056, 1-50 Each, 51-100 Each, 101-200 Eac h, and 201-300 Each; and 4. the Electronic Parts Kit,1-50 Each, 51-100 Each, 101-150 Each, and 151-400 Each. The current source for these items are Trivec-Avant Corp, cage 60188. Detailed technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of these units a re not available from the Army. The only technical data available, which will be a part of the solicitation, is a performance specification for each unit. Potential sources of supply must be able to deliver a minimum of 25 units of each NSN 60 days after contract award or sooner. A maximum rate of 150 units per month of these NSN may be required later in the contract's life. Suppliers capable of furnishing these units must so indicate, by writing to: Commander, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-T-TM, Building 1 202W, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test result, or a statement from the previous source that the supplier can , in fact, supply these antennas and parts kit that will be form, fit and physically, an d functionally interchangeable and interoperable with the exiting AN/PSC-5 radio from the previous suppliers. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Gov ernment and be delivered on time.
