The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for repair of a metal roof. Repairing joints, holes, sliding panels, rust spots, screws, and silicon damage at the National Research Center, 700 Cajundome Blvd., Lafayette, LA 70506. The contractor shall be required to inspection roof for leaks, repairing all flat panel and curved metal roof panels in a roof area of approximately 16,400 sq ft. Object is to obtain a roof free of water penetration replacing any seam clips, crews, and roof panels with comparable galvanized clips of equal tolerance, color and specification. Installing gaskets, joint fillers and sealants were required for weatherproof performance of panel systems.
