Description

FFP - P-234, Design Build Transient Student Quarters PROJECT SCOPE a. It is the intent of the Government to obtain a quality Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BQ) facility at Naval Air Facility (NAF) El Centro, California in accordance with Military Handbook 1036-A and specific requirements of this RFP. The proposed new facility will house up to 320 enlisted personnel in 80 two-room modules. The facility shall provide suitable long-term shelter and satisfy the indicated design intent. Facility shall provide all Basic and Star Standards features required by the Navy's Bachelor Housing Accreditation Program (BHAP), NAVNOTE 11103 (attached) for Facility, Common Area and Rooms. b. Work shall include all architectural and engineering design based specifically on this RFP, site demolition, and construction of a complete and usable BQ facility including site utilities, building systems, equipment, finishes, fixtures, and site improvements. The work also includes the off-site demolition of Buildings 328, 331, and 410, and related incidental work. No subsequent construction will take place at these building sites.
