- This synopsis is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a solicitation for C-25 Pilot/Flight Engineer training. The requirement is for both initial academic and simulator training and refresher academic and simulator training for pilots and flight engineers in the C-25 aircraft. Training is to be conducted in a B747-200 model simulator. The Government is soliciting information to determine the availability of capable contractors that can accomplish this training. Any resultant contract is anticipated to be a requirements contract beginning on 1 Oct 2002, with four one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611512. Request contractors interested and capable of performing the training listed in this Request for Information (RFI) submit the following information: Name and address of company, business size, company point of contact, telephone number, fax number, E-mail address, and statement of capability. Please limit the capability package to 20 pages. The statement of capability must include, as a minimum, the following items: 1) Contract references relating to C-25 Pilot/Flight Engineer Initial and Refresher Training to include: Contract Number; agency supported, period of performance, original contract value, final or current contract value, training monitor and phone/fax number, PCO with current phone/fax number, and a brief description of the effort; 2) Company profile: Number of employees, annual sales history, performance locations, and DUNS number, etc.; 3) a brief description of current capability to provide the training described above. Also, if your firm is HUBZone certified, please indicate. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete and submitted to the contracting officer electronically via E-mail no later than 20 Feb 02.
