Description

NA The Directorate of Peninsula Contracting will be issuing Solicitation DABT57-02-B-0003 on or about 19 Feb 2002 to provide services for Programmed Drydocking, Cleaning, Painting and Repairs to US Army Reserve Vessel Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 2031, station ed at Tampa, FL. The area of consideration is restricted North from South Carolina and South through Florida and West through Louisiana. Dimensions are as follows: Length overall: 174 feet; Beam: 42 feet; Displacement (light): 575 long tons; Draft Mean ( light): 8 feet; Design: 2000 class; Construction: Steel. A Fixed-price contract is contemplated. This procurement is unrestricted. The services will include a 90 calendar day performance period. Contractor's shall have a Master Vessel Agreement with Ft Eus tis, VA, in order to be awarded this contract. The Solicitation can be obtained through the Army's Single Face to Industry (AFSI) web site at http://acquisition.army.mil, under contracting opportunities, and also at http://www.tac.eustis.army.mil, under so licitations. All amendments to the Solicitation will be posted to these web sites. Contractors are cautioned to check the web sites periodically for amendments. A site visit will be conducted in accordance with information provided in Section L of the Sol icitation.
