Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase and delivery of 4,000 metal fence posts, 6.5 feet tall, treated wood fence posts: sizes: 500 each, 5 x 8 feet, and 1,500 each, 2 ? x 6 feet tall. Cost of Shipping fence posts will be included in the price of the posts. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 421390. The size standard is 100 employees. The tentative issue date is on or about 02/19/02, with 21 days to provide a quote. RFQ shall be in writing, stating RFQ number 401812Q023, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number/fax number. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued, with a performance period of 90 days from receipt of award. The anticipated award date is 03/20/02. Telephone requests will not be accepted; however, written technical questions may be faxed to my attention. Written requests for the quote may be faxed to my attention at (404) 679-4057. There is no charge for obtaining the solicitation, however, only one copy to each company per request.
