NAICS Code: 334310 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6 AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is RFQ-RT-02-00128, and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-03. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) anticipates that a purchase order will be awarded as a small business set-aside, firm-fixed price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This contract is for the procurement of photographic equipment, to update existing equipment to digital. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310 and the size standard is 750 Employees. The Government intends to award a single purchase order to the lowest priced offeror that meets all the Governments specifications. The following additional FAR clauses which are cited in Clause 52.212-5 are applicable to the acquisition: 52.203-6 Restrictions on Subcontracting Sales to the Government, with Alternate I; 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; 52.225-1, Buy American Act-Balance of Payments Program-Supplies; 52.225-3, Buy American Act--North American Free Trade Agreement-Israeli Trade Act-Balance of Payments Program; 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Other than Central Contractor Registration. It is requested that the completed Representations and Certifications be included with quotation.
