Description

The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Region 6, Olympic National Forest is issuing a request for proposal to complete a Planting/Thinning/Pruning Multiple Year/Multiple Award Requirements Contract. There will be a total of 12 contracts. Eleven contracts currently exist, and no more than 1 contract will be awarded under this solicitation. The contract time remaining is approximately 4 1/2-years. The projects awarded under this contract entail various locations of the Olympic, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie, and Gifford Pinchot National Forests. This is 100% set-aside for Hubzone Certified Contractors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 11531 with a size standard of $5MM. This solicitation will be advertised as a Commercial Items Request for Proposal in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures. The Service Contract Act applies to projects awarded under this contract. The solicitation will be available on or about February 26, 2002, with proposals due March 21, 2002.
