- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a purchase order to Decision Modeling Inc. for the purchase of information technology services that will enhance the system interface within our current DMI Interestnet software. These services have been determined to meet the definition of commercial items in accordance with Part 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Vendors who can provide the required services at prices, terms and conditions equal to or better than those which can be provided by Decision Modeling should submit clear and convincing data in writing substantiating an ability to furnish the entire requirement. Telephonic or e-mail inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this notice must be received by this office by February 11, 2002. Responses should be sent to: Internal Revenue Service, National Office Procurement, 6009 Oxon Hill Road, Room 700, Oxon Hill, MD 20745, Attn: Leona M. Brown, A:P:I:E. Responses will be accepted by facsimile at(202)283-0610. These responses must arrive at the place and by the time specified in this synopsis and may not exceed 10 pages. The Government will not be responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of any facsimile information. If a response is received that meets the IRS's requirements and analysis of both technical and pricing documentation indicate that a competitive acquisition would be more advantageous to the Government, a formal solicitation may be issued. Currently, no solicitation documents exists for this requirement. Requests for same will be considered non-responsive. The reference number for this announcement is S-2-S3-4A-A9-A02. If no compelling responses are received, award will be made to Decision Modeling Inc.
