- Fully Contractor operated and maintained helicopter flight services consisting of two light turbine helicopters. One (BH 206BIII or equal) in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs wildland fire management programs at Bemidji, Minnesota and one (BH 206LIII/IV or equal) in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs wildland fire management programs at Crow Agency, Montana. The Contractor(s) will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration air carrier and operating specification for the category and class of aircraft required under the contract. They will also be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations. It is anticipated that two separate contracts will be awarded. The term of both contracts will be one year with options to renew for three additional years. The exclusive use period for Bemidji, Minnesota begins approximately April 13 and runs through May 27. The exclusive use period for Crow Agency, Montana begins approximately July 1 and runs through September 10. The solicitation will be available online at www.oas.gov.
