Description

The Colville National Forest requires cutting roadside vegetation on roads in Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille Counties, Washington. Work will consist of cutting roadside vegetation along various roads throughout the Colville National Forest. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies to complete the job. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about March 1, 2002. Contract work is estimated from May 1st through July 1st with a summer break and then September 1st to October 30th. This project is an indefinite quantity contract for three years (Fiscal years 2002, 2003 and 2004). The Government is estimating approximately 189 pass miles and 290.8 side miles (per year) of road. Actual amount may vary as roads are surveyed and amount of funding becomes available. Government will guarantee at least 100 pass miles and 150 side miles for this contract. Contractor will be paid for actual work performed. Proposals are estimated to be due March 31, 2002. The proposed project listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside.
